An interesting city with loads of cheap little bars to sample and tapas to test. |

Weather was fantastic in October despite bad forecasts. The beaches are beautiful and very clean. Really relaxing

You absolutely have to speak spanish, or you will not get far with the local girls :)
Climate is wonderful, not as extremely hot but sometimes more moderate, influenced by the atlantic. An occasional slight and short rain was exactly what I wanted, since I hate it when it's just too hot to do anything. |

I with my group think that Santander don't make us remember anything of spanish... maybe only the language.
Even if they have a great wine! (Lambrusco Rosado)

It conjures the best of Spain: friendly locals, nice weather, good food and wine, lovely beaches and a stone throw from the mountains. A good base for further exploration (Bilbao, Oviedo, Galicia, Picos de Europa...) |
