Although all tables were reserved the manager removed the "reserved" sign and said the table was ours for one hour. The tapas (pinxtos) were of their usual high standard and I am still amazed that a wine of such quality as Belondrade y Lurton Rueda Verdejo is available by the glass, and at such a remarkably reasonable price. Casa Gandarias will always be high on my list of "must visit" places. Viv Reesclose

This is my personal favourite for pintxos. They have the biggest selection and everything is so fresh. You could easily spend a couple of hours here. Great selection of wine and Belondrade y Lurton is available by the glass. Great jamon and superb foie a la plancha served on a bed of apple puree... more This is my personal favourite for pintxos. They have the biggest selection and everything is so fresh. You could easily spend a couple of hours here. Great selection of wine and Belondrade y Lurton is available by the glass. Great jamon and superb foie a la plancha served on a bed of apple puree and topped with redcurrant. The chuleton de buey is delicious, we shared one and it was delicious. The barman Xabi pretends he's really gruff but he's a puppy dog really! Great atmosphere, great food and great wine. Fantastic!!close
