Welcome to SM31, a new hostel situated in the heart of San Sebastian. We're in San Marcial st. in the main commercial area of the city, beside San Martin shopping center, just 2 minutes walk from La Concha beach and less than 5 minutes walk from the Old Town, where nightlife and the best restaurants and pubs are to be found. We provide a quiet and relaxing place with 4 share and 8 share dorms available. One of the 4 share dorms includes a double bed for couples at the same price. If you're interested in it, let us know by email after booking through Hostelworld. All the rooms have balcony, with a locker and a reading light for each bed. Linen is included, of course. We know our guests are travellers on a budget. That's why our prices include BREAKFAST and ALL THE FACILITIES: lockers, internet, guest kitchen, library and book exchange, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Only the laundry service has to be paid, cheaper than any laundromat in the city, though. Note that the hostel is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, but we'll be pleased to give you a hand with your baggage! Please, advise about arrival time. Check in time at 12pm. Check out time at 11am. Credit Card Facilities.

The best backpackers I stayed at in Europe, it's small and you tend to know everyone staying there which is fun, it was like living at home for a couple of weeks! Will definitely go back if I get a chance. Fran and Michael are the greatest!

We arrived pretty late at night to SM31, to find that i had made our booking wrong, amazingly there was a bed and the people running it managed to accommodate us for the rest of the booking. SM31 is the cleanest hostel we have ever stayed in with the most helpful staff. They will help with...

Best hostel in Europe! It´s a shame the ratings don´t go over 100% because thats what these 2 amazing people give to their hostel. After 7 months and 15 countries, this has been our favourite place to stay. Cleanest, funnest, best staff, secure, and perfect location.

It is a family owned hostel and the owner is more than happy to go though the sites of san Sebastain with you. easy to find and a nice kitchen. Big bathrooms and lockers for all. Also have free wifi and internet. Nice and clean however it is 4 floors up which can be a mission!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Lots of fun and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. The free wifi was awesome. Definitely like a home away from home. I was sad to leave!

Great hostel. Michel and Fran are super friendly and helpful. The other travelers here were all really great, too. For whatever reason, they seemed to be mostly Aussies while I was here. The stairs can be a bit of a workout, though.

The owners are excellent, had a great stay. It it very small though, so if you are arriving early you can't stay at the hostel before check in. But once you are there, you will enjoy your stay.

Miguel and Fran anre amazing. The hostel is clean as a whip. It isn´t conducive to having a party in or anything, but this is a welcome reprieve after a few days in KAbul in Barcelona...just grab some wine and head to the beach at night! Great city, awesome hostel.

The nicest most personable hostel owners I've come across! They're willing to chat and answer any of your questions at any time of the day and Michael will throw your bags over his shoulder for you with such ease, you'll get carried away with how nice they are! Highly recommended!
