Great little place to stay run by lovely old Spanish gentlemen. Good location, lots of little local bars near by. Not for those wishing to meet others but a great place to rest your head for the night.

We really enjoyed our stay in Pension San Juan. It was very clean and the owner are really nice. The Pension is surrounded by Bars, where you can have a really good time! If you want to see the city and go out and then come back to a clean, quiet and friendly room, this is your place!

Good hostel/pension. Very affordable, clean, good showers, comfy beds, balcony overlooking the street, great location. Owner doesn't speak much English but was helpful where he could be and very attentive to my friends 3 year old boy who was travelling with us. Recommended definately

As for San Seb, the nightlife was amazing and this place is just round the corner from one of the best bar streets, also near a Lidl and the start of the hike up the hill with Jesus on top. Magnifico!close

They were willing to cancel the first day of our 3 day reservations with less than 12 hours notice after we were snowed in on our way to San Sebastian. We were always greeted with smiles and a quick chat when we returned to the hostel, and the location was excellent. The room was comfortable and very clean, and even had a balcony. We were given a key to the front door so we were able to come and go as we pleased. I highly recommend asking them for restaurant recommendations because the best meals we had in San Sebastian were at places they suggested. All in all it was a gem of a hostel!close

Great location near heaps of bars. Not a big city so nowhere is really far from the beach. The staff are GREAT, really nice and helpful. When I got sick in San Sebastian the lady took me to the doctor and the dude helped me make my drinks to get better. Cheers. :)
