1 bathroom per floor = a mess and a lot of waiting! Our first room had a balcony with NO window(glass)! It was extremely cold, and there was nothing to keep out the elements or the noise from the bars below. After complaining, Mariano, was nice enough to relocate us to a much better room, on a... more

They didn't have the heat on and didn't have enough extra blankets to go around. Also the water in the shower didn't get very hot... all around decent place, but I wouldn't stay there during the winter.

The hostel couldn't have been in a better position and was surprisingly quiet at night time. Only one bathroom/shower on each floor was a bit ridiculous and half the lights didn't work. The hostel staff were above and beyond helpful though. Would stay again.

if you have a hard time sleeping, this might not be the place for you. it's on a busy street where people are partying until 2am. Otherwise, it's great! Oh, they also don't have a sign out front, just the number of the building, so that was a little confusing.

One of the staff(the Spanish guy)was so lovely but there was a crummy English or Australian guy who was totally unhelpful and who we had to wakeup so we could get our deposit back. It wasnt even early it was 8.15 and we told him twice the night before what time we were checking out. What an idiot!

The staff were very friendly here, the rooms were fairly basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. It was not too loud and was exactly what we were looking for for a few nights. I would recommend it to a friend

The staff was very helpful but one of them gave me a piece of wrong information. The location cant be better. There is no partying in the hostel but, with shared rooms, you can always meet new people and make friends.

A bit overprized, but the location is good. If you're with more than one person, you're better of finding a cheap hotel or a pension. Be in time and it's really easy to find places to stay in San Sebastian.

The dorm rooms can't be locked so anyone from the hostel can enter the rooms. Lockers aren't provided they cost 5euros. Theres only one toilet/shower on each floor so you will have to queue. The kitchen is for cold food only. Apart from this we had a good time and the staff we very friendly.

Good location but it would be better if you could lock the dorm door and we think the lockers in the dorms should be free. Someone came into our dorm in the middle of the night and woke us up to change sheets when the bed had been empty all day! No-one even checked in and used it anyway!... more
