Twin Peaks gets is name from 2 mountain peaks right next to each other. They are the 2nd and 3rd highest peaks in San Francisco but have the best views of the city, Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge. You can see the bay as well as Oakland downtown from the Twin Peaks.

Take a few hours out to see lots of the city, it is quite spread out and a tour is really the only way to go. Plus the big hills are tackled much easier by a bus than your feet. It takes you to Twin Peaks too which has fab views

Also know as Monster Park, the stadium is home to the San Francisco 49er's a NFl team. I was there for a pre-season game between the 49er's and the Oakland Raiders, which was great fun. It is a bit expensive for a ticket though costing about $75 for a pre season ticket.
