“ Do not go to San Fran without having breakfast at this diner!! It's about one block up the hill from union square. It gets busy at about 9am with tourists, but if you are alone, or perhaps a couple, you can usually skip the queue to eat at the bar. ”

“ Sears has been around since 1938 and is an institution in San Francisco. It's so well known for its 18 Swedish pancakes with maple syrup and whipped butter that there is always a queue outside. Sear's is just next to Union Square so you can soak up the atmosphere and watch the cable cars going up... more ”
