The locks on the door did not feel secure and the stairwell on the outside of the building meant that groups of people could congregate outside my room. The windows are not secure so anyone could have just got in and I was on the 4th floor!Terrible. Did not feel safe.

The hotel had basic ammenities but was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excelllent. Very close to Union Square and Chinatown. The street of the hotel was fun. I would highly recommend this place for any budget traveller. Just make sure you...

Excellent and central place to stay. Only 2 blocks to Union Square. The guy on the desk is so, so helpful. There are also washing machines/driers and microwave and TV. Or you can get private double bed room with bathroom, fridge and TV. Would totally recommend this place.

Initially I thought it gonna be a dirty place to stay - but it isn't really! Only thing I would say about the hotel is that it doesn't have internet connectivity / wireless network available in its rooms - but it's mentioned in the website - so plz rectify it. Other than I hope it'd be a great...

u will not find a better value for your dollar anywhere in this cuty...the rooms are pretty small but the location is amazing and the old school elevator is really cool..there is a really diverse crowd of people here too o its nice.

dirty bathrooms and the 4th floor shower door did not unlock and so we were sent to the 5th floor which was unacceptable.

Great small hotel! Very good location, we were attending a conference at the Moscone centre which is a five min walk away. Best bed I've ever slept on! two double beds in a twin room was fantastic. Staff struggled to understand our Scottish accent, which made for a good laugh.

A great hotel in a very nice, secured part of the city.It is right in the downtown! Very good service and room. Trust me, the rate is really a great deal in San Fran. I strongly recommend others to choose this hotel unless if you prefer crowded hostel.Truly a must for any visitors!!
