A really boring hostel, the location isn't too bad. It's vrey close to the Hilton however, within 2 blocks you are walking passed tramps everywhere. It didn't feel the safest

This hostel is really nice - the rooms are big, clean and light and the tv room with free film hire is excellent! Which is lucky, as the area is really unsavoury after dark!

the tub drain would sometimes get full of hair (yuck) and stop the water from flowing down. I stayed there for 6 nights, i think the towel should be changed at least once...and the location...i dont have to say anything. Anyway, it was one of the best hostels i've stayed. much better than a lot...

Slightly out of the centre, takes a few minutes to walk a couple of blocks to anywhere. Which is usually fine, unless you find it uneasy to walk through the tenderloin district (read up on it!). Hostel is great, staff are friendly. Worth the effort to stay in this city. Free wifi or pay $1 for 10...

Friendly staff, really good security (you need your own padlock for the lockers or buy one - 4$) and perfect cleanliness. Location is great but not the best (dont go out alone after 10pm). I can highly recomment this hostel! Nice to stay there for longer.

The dorms with sheared bathroom were really clean and good space was made for the tv room and internet area. More options for breakfast, such as cereal, fruit and yoghurt would be the only improvement.

Really good hostel, would stay again! Staff very helpful, easy access to the Fishermans Wharf on the bus. Clean, free toast and bagels for breakfast. Kitchen good, but not very well equipt. Felt very safe in hostel even though location (Tenderloin) was known to be a bit dodgy.

I loved the hostel but the location was a shock as it is a very seedy part of town, and negatively coloured my 'first impressions' of san fancisico. Also virtually no info on activities in the area available at the hostel and staff were ambivalent on this subject as well.
