“ Staff was friendly and the location was great. Only major complaint: the room was pretty cold and a bad heater and the shower had two temperatures: really hot and really cold. Once they tack on the tax (not shown) the rate for a private ensuite is comparable to a hotel. ”

“ My only real issue with the Adelaide is that there wasn't enough space to sit up on the bottom bunks. The ceilings were plenty high enough, so I don't know why they didn't get normal ones. But the bathrooms were clean, the oatmeal at breakfast (with raisins and cinnamon and apples cooked in)... more ”

“ We were diverted to the Dakota Hotel where the staff were less than helpful, the lift was trying, and both the roof and the radiator leaked, left wet patches on the ground and a dank smell in the air. Service from staff was extremely poor. Although the oatmeal at breakfast was excellent. ”

“ We stayed in a private room at both The Adelaide, and then booked again a few days later and got put in the Dakota. Polar opposite experiences with regards to room quality, staff, wifi etc. Try to get in the Adelaide (even if only to save the walk across the road to grab the awesome breakfasts!). ”
