2. Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat 96%      

   I am so glad I came across this place - the staff are so friendly, speak great English, the rooms are amazing (especially for the price!) and what a location!! Keep it up Anton at Paganakan!!! Thanks so much for a great stay - definately one of our favourite places.

3. Sandakan Backpackers 81%      

   we were due to stay here but when we arrived we were told there was no hot water and after 3 days in the jungle a hot shower was all we wanted. so did not stay here. cant say much else as i think its a bit pot luck here

   I found the tours that were offered were slightly expensive as we went to the tourist infomation centre tand got the same thing for cheaper. The staff were helpful but not overly helpful. Overall though, ok for what your paying.

   Beautiful garden, but room interior a bit old-fashioned. Some of the staff at banana cafe are not very happy. We almost felt guilty to order a meal..
