More residential in immediate vicinity. 15 minute walk to Salzburg train station. 5 minute walk to bus stop to station, shops, old town etc. Very impressive breakfast included. Internet provided free but usage was not regulated so it was never out of use.

Extremely thin pillows!! You will need to ask for more. Otherwise, really building, lots of Austrian character. 2 min walk from Mirabell Gardens, 10 mins from old town (but a lovely walk) and £12 trip from airport! Nice and easy!

Great location. Walking distance to the train station and to main tourist area/shopping. Great free breakfast and free internet. Guy at the desk was very helpful in recommending nearby restaurants and just a friendly guy.

great hotel... we only stayed one night on our way to Munich. Just a little expensive.only choice tho as hostel down the road was booked out because of Octoberfest.

A very good location, nice quiet area and only a short walk from the station. There are some very nice cafes nearby down the road past the large stainless steel monument. Fantastic breakfast in cost and free internet. Very good service.

This place was great. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I´ve slept in ever. The breakfast was amazing. And there was free wireless in the room. Wonderful! Would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved the room that we were in!! We had a private room and it was so cute - reminded us of a Swiss chalet. Breakfast had a lot more available than I expected, and overall it was a wonderful stay - so wonderful, we actually stayed a second night - and high quality at a good price.

Housekeeping took our belongings out of the room before check out time and left them sitting in the hotel lobby without anyone there to ensure the safety of our items. Asked to discuss this with the manager, but he was not present and the receptionist did not speak English. Very disappointed in...

Great hotel. A rustic look with a modern finish. Great bang for your buck! Staff was very efficient and friendly. A bit of a walk but Salzburg is a small city and it wasn't too problematic.

hotel lasserhoff was overbooked and they sent me to the marcus-sittikus hotel which was fabulous. wonderful breakfast, location, and staff. just a lovely hotel. would reccommend to anyone going to salzburg.

Located close to the train station but not necessarily the center of town. Street noise was a problem with the window open from traffic and train switching yard. Room with three bedrooms was a double room with a cot brought in for the third bed.

Great Location for first time visitors. Near the train station is a 5 minute stroll to city centre. Appears to be a safe area. Friendly staff. Flexible breakfast hour (7am to midday!). Would recommend without any reservation.
