The breakfast is very good, the lady at the front is nice, the room's decor leaves a lot to be desired and also the rubbish bin had not been emptied - just a bit below par on that one.

No one was there to let us in when we arrived. Also no lift making carrying baggage difficult up a steep staircase, although a staff member did help with one journey.

The travel description was faulty. The tramline 4 does not go to this place. After going to the end of the tramline I had to return. Later I took the Metro.

Functional hotel but in need of a refurbishment, and fewer mosquitoes.

Good hotel. Very like the staff and breakfast, the only negative in the room was very cold. Convenient location near the historic part of town.

It was easier to visit other nearby areas than Rotterdam, but lovely none the less. Many thanks for good hotel and breakfast.

The plus: good location, close to the Sparta Rotterdam stadium, close to Coolhaven which they say is an activities area but I haven't visited, night light on the headside of the bed (something of a plus with a hotel of this price level), good and clean bathroom. Friendly staff but I met only one person. The minus: old building, smallish bed (people who are bigger than 177cm should beware), doesn't have a 24-hour reception (call first if you are arriving after 18h00 to get the codes for the front door and your room key sorted out). The minus which people may not like but I like : Old building, rickety and small stairway, small bedroom.close

Rooms were better than most hostels, but perhaps a little more pricy. We didn't know how to use the Metro card system and it's quite some way from the train station!!!

Be aware that they will add an extra citytax which they claim is not included in the price(All other places it is) they also charge a credit card fee of 8% of the total rate. Simply unacceptable. We will not be returning!!!!

Getting there was a bit rough after a day in Amsterdam - would defiantly recommend taking the train over the tram; you have to change trains but its worth it at the end of the day - the less walking through the streets with luggage the better. Its seems much closer. Can't remember the station name, but ring the hotel and I'm sure they'll be happy to give directions.close

My 10 percent security deposit was NOT deducted from mygrand total. When I asked about this, the only person there said "there was nothing she could do." It only amounted to around 7 or 8 euros, but still this was the ONLY hotel that did this out of the 5 reservations I'd made through...

The hotel was ok. It was walking distance to most attractions. We were on the top floor of the hotel and with our luggage it was like climbing a mountain. No lift. Wasn't as clean as the other hostels we have stayed at. The staff were pretty friendly though.
