A little noisy, but a fun stay with the novelty of sleeping on water.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The novelty of it being a boat wears off as soon as you meet the (very rude and unhelpful) owner. In fact, swerve Rotterdam it's dull.

The owner was really rude and smoked in the only common area. Very small rooms with no place to sit.

We had the luck of having a 4-bed room for just the two of us which was perfect. Otherwise it would have become very very cramped - but it's a boat, so what would one expect?! Overall we had a pleasant stay.

WARNING!!!! Slightly damp, dogs, very cramped, Ramon gets angry when you jump on his roof, hairy Italian neighbours, jam and bread for breakfast, beds suitable for short people only, vines growing in bathrooms. This hostel makes for a good story.

its got quite small rooms and you could hear the people in the room next to you as if they were in your room. but its good to say you stayed in a boat, how often does that happen?

The breakfast could be better and the shower too. It's very important to know that in the boat you can't pay with credit cards so you need cash.

Very nice place to stay with outstandingly helpful and friendly owners (plus two lovely dogs and a lonely budgie ;-)). The rooms are small, but hey, you're on a boat, right? :-D The location is great! Definitely worth a visit!

We had hot water for shower! Excellent wireless Internet on board too! I was quite worried before arriving in Rotterdam because of the negative reviews here, but now I'd suggest Clipper to everyone!close

When the owner saw him, he began screaming at him and swearing about using his personal computer, however, there was not any signs saying it was not allowed to use the computer! He kicked the kid out of the boat as well. I felt bad for him, and it created a really tense, awkward environment. I would not stay again, the rooms were very small and not the best location.close

very cool experience being on a boat. Ramone is a cool dude...very nice and had a lot to share about the people and government of the netherlands/europe. It felt good being basically in someone's house. Good location, make sure you ring the doorbell or they won't know you are there.

In addition, the room walls were "thin" (poorly soundproofed) and the wooden floors rattled loudly below the feet so that you could hear any guest who went by the corridor so as if he had strolled through the room. Altogether, I would give 3 of 10 points, because of a interesting idea, to stay over night in a boot.close

It's a family run business. The host was very friendly and bought breakfast for us deliberately. The room was very clean, though the shower was quite basic. Just bear in mind that there are 3 quite nice dogs (but they are not allowed to enter the hostel section)
