“ An absolute dive. Did not even set foot inside - we could not as the place was locked up when we arrived! Only two cars outside, loud music and tobacco smoke coming from inside. No answer to phone calls. Complete mis-representation to call it a Hotel. We checked in elsewhere.... more ”

“ Beautiful old building a few minutes from the centre of Rotorua. Very few people were staying, when I was there so it felt a little errie - but I was there out of season so probably better in the summer. ”

“ Very unusual hostel. We paid when we left, instead of paying upon arrival. The atmosphere was strange, but friendly. ”

“ Sheets in the room smelled funny and it seemed like they hadn't cleaned anything in ages. Kitchen utileries were very poor and the worst of it all was that there is a bar right under the rooms of the hostel. The music is so loud every day from 10 am till 12 pm that you feel the floors bouncing!... more ”
