Well worth it. The queues can be over 1KM long to get in. We were lucky we 40 mins before closing and didn't have to queue for more than 10 minutes. The queues can be over 1KM long to get in. We were lucky we 40 mins before closing and didn't have to queue for more than 10 minutes. Once in there is quite a walk to the sistine chapel and you go through lots of small chapels with gorgeous frescos and illustrations. When you get to the chapel, there are no photos allowed and it is quite dark but well worth seeing. (closes at 1.30pm on Sat and doesn't open on sunday)close
