In Rome are so many thins to see. It has a great history. But I wanted to go shopping and I was a bit disappointed. I don\'t know if I was at the wrong places or if I just expected too much. But it\'s really a visit worth. |

Rome was such a beautiful city, far exceeded anything I had expected! In particular at night it is such an experience driving/walking around seeing all these ruins light up. The italians are also lovely, very friendly and we met lots of people out there easily! |

Last Full day of my trip and a great way to finish up. |

More like a bed and breakfast than a hostel....its run by a couple and only has two rooms or so. They were really nice...we were only there one night but they were helpful. Location was great.....having a hostel next to termini station really makes life easier! |

Good place, need more than two days to visit, nice food, nice shopping experience, should take one day pass for metro and bus of cost 4 euros, if less time than u must have a good map for bus routes. |

I loved every minute of my stay in Rome. The food, the weather, my hostel: everything was perfect! I only want one thing: go there again very soon!:) |

it rain every day, which is why weather get poor marks, but apparently a friend living in rome was just as shock over the weather as we were, so, who knows? |

The city is great to see, but SOOOO dirty! |

From the historical side, Rome was great, with excellent tours and information regrading the Colosseum, Palatine and Vatacin (this was amazing)
From a shoppiing point of view however, the city was not as good as I would have thought, not as good as Florence anyway!!! |

Everything is just perfect there! |

Great city with lots of places to visit. Enjoyed sightseeing very much. Getting around was easy but there were not many Metro stations in the center of the town, where it mattered most for tourists. Overall, excellent city to visit! |

Love Rome--so much to see, so little time! |

really good bang for you buck. In terms of location it is is a really good place for some good eats. the resurant below has an excellent variaty and the owner is also very friendly. The metro is the best way to get around and is located practically next door. Max the owner of the hostel is a very nice man and he goes out of his way to make you feel comforable, clean sheets each day and within walking distance of lots of resturants. you can not get much better then this hostel. |

i\'ll probably never go back because of all the hustle and bustle but you have to see it simply because of all of the history!! |

Amazing culture, history and food. Not the cheapest though, and not a party town |

Of all the cities I went to in Italy, Rome was the only one where I was completely exhausted at the end of every day. There is so much to do! I was there for 3 1/2 days and I still didn\'t do everything I wanted to do. It\'s such an amazing city with so much history--although, admittedly, I did get a little sick of looking at yet another museum full of still more shards of broken pottery. |

Lots to see. The ruins and the Colosseum were incredible. The Trevi Fountain is beautiful. Watch out for dog poo on the sidewalks! |

An amazing place to visit with loads to see and loads to do. Impossible to see everything in one trip and this gives you the excuse to return!! Its such a chilled out place that it is going to become a second home with the amount of time I will be spending there |

Rome is culturally very stimulating! The Vatican Museums were absolutely fantastic. We spent 6 hrs in it! Colosseum and other sights were very good too! |

The hostel was not easy to find and far from clean. The little crampy bathroom had no lock and the shower turned from hot to cold all the time. When you showered the entire floor got flooded. The rooms are little, the beds uncomfortable. With the window closed the room gets extremely sultry, but when it's open there is a lot of noise. The breakfast is very poor and the '24-hour-check-in' is closed during the late hours. So, in a nutshell: Enjoy your stay... |

One of my best holydays in Europe. 100% fun. |

This hostel was amazing. The staff was really helpful. The rooms were really clean and the beds were comfortable. Very close to the center and is near the metro for easy access to the Vatican. I would definately recommend this hostel to anyone who would like to travel to Rome and have a quiet place to sleep. |

This was my second trip to the Eternal City. I need to go a lot more, amazing place. |

VERY VERY VERY VERY far from the center of the city. Two metro rides and a bus to get ANYWHERE worth seeing in Rome. Hard to find (in the dark) and the area that it\'s in is VERY sketch. But if you\'re going to the beach it\'s fantastic and if it\'s summer time it\'s fantastic... but if you\'re staying a short while to see the city it\'s not the best location. The hostel is very nice and so are the people... but it\'s out in the middle of no where. |

As much as i\'d like to give this hostel a good review, I arrived to find it closed, leaving me stranded in Rome over Easter. Whilst I appreciate that situations arise, they had made no attempt to contact me before my arrival, despite having my full contact details, and refused to understand (in either English or Italian) when I asked for assistance/suggestions in finding alternate accommodation. Ruined an otherwise fantastic holiday, and I will certainly avoid this place like the plague in future |

Very nice staff, close to Termini station, but very thin walls, there is no free breakfast, ist more like a place to stay just for night and left in the morning, one minus - booking is only from internet |
|

showers hot then cold then scorching then cold. could always find a bar crawl somewhere and good tours left from the yellow bar. yellow bar is very nice but in my opinion even if your staying there a bit pricey... n-e way thats all bye bye |

Rome is an amazing city! The ancient city and Vatican are obvious must-sees, but Rome had a lot of other cool sites to see as well. Get food in the Trastrevere area (good prices and best tasting!) and to relax go hang out in the park around Villa Borghese - it\'s beautiful! |

Everyone must go here before they die. There is so much history and culture to see among the sites. The metro and buses are easy to navigate, and the train station is pretty central to the city. I wasn\'t super impressed with the restaurants, but that\'s probably because I was on a budget. There are alot of beautiful fountains and parks to relax if you\'ve had a busy day. It rained a bit in January, but was sunny and absolutely amazing in the end of March. |

It was more of a camping ground rather than a hostel and really out of the way, it is easy enough to get into town but if you want to stay out past midnight its really difficult to get back. Really clean and tidy |

While the attractions are all great, I found the rest of the city to be somewhat difficult. The restaurants could have been nicer at times, and the metro system still makes it tough to get to many areas of the city. |

Nowhere can match Rome in terms of things to see. It's overwhelming and heaving with tourists. It's also charming like the rest of Italy.
Top tips are to always check your bill and your change. Also, buy tickets online for the big attractions before you travel. The queues are scary! |

There\'s so much to see in Rome. And you\'ll be knackered if you try to see it all in a few days. We did, and we were. And even then, there were areas we missed. The best way to see Rome is to divide it (and its sights) into areas, and try to visit one or two a day. Also, it helps if you can just give yourself one day to wander about. We did, and we covered quite a lot of ground, and saw things we wouldn\'t have seen otherwise. A day of exploring and planning NOT to stand in queues is a great relaxing way to spend your time in a city which can get quite stressful. If you\'re not a bit walker, then take the bus. We didn\'t bother with the Metro, didn\'t have to. Take our advice, and get the bus TO the sight, then if you\'ve the energy walk back afterwards. Bus tickets are EUR1, so it\'s worth it. And think of the toned legs you\'ll have after all that walking! But don\'t attempt to walk there AND back - my office-based legs just couldn\'t cope with that, and I love walking about! |

You can see a lot here in just a couple of days if you are up to it. Vatican museums are a must. Simply stunning. St. Peter\'s and the square are unreal. Save plenty of time for the Colosseum and the nearby hill and Forum. Try to hit some of the sites at night when they are lit. Go to some of the less known Piazzas and have a look around. Make sure you get Gelati! The Roman people are not the warmest in the world, but the sights in the city itself make up for it. What would I change? Encourage people to stop the graffiti that is EVERYWHERE. |

 |
I found the main sights a little disappointing (the subpar Vatican tour we took was partly to blame) and the city\'s character in general a bit sketchy. Metro goes around the heart, so you walk/taxi everywhere.
Good food (it\'s Italy) and photo ops all over the place. |

Rome was the favorite part of my trip!! I went to the Colosseum and the Vatican, both just breathtaking and gave me the chills the whole time I was there! Make sure to also visit the Victor Emmanual Monument (the first king of Italy), the Trevi Fountain is amazing (especially at night), the Patheon was great! And if you are as lucky as I got, you might be able to see the Pope and sit at mass with him! It was the most memorable moment of my trip!! I would definitely go back to Rome and enjoy it for much longer! |

I was there in Rome last January together with my friends. I can say that this place is really great and has lots of beautiful spots to enjoy. I really love eating at their restaurants, yummy foods! :D |
