Its particular claim to fame is it was started and run for many years by the "Sister Elena" (Sora Lella) it is now called after – she was the youngest sister of one of Italy's most famous actors of the 20th century. There are two small dining rooms, one on the ground floor as you enter, one up a steep and rather rickety staircase. There is a view near some windows of the Tiber flowing below the bridge outside. The food is pretty straightforward Roman cooking but very tasty. Very good pasta and pleasant service. The place has had its ups-and-downs but its perfectly acceptable.close
