“ We went to Al Vantaggio on Valentine's Night and had an excellent time. The restaurant was packed with locals and tourists but the owner took time to chat to us and made us feel very welcome. He loves his rugby so we had a great chat about the next day's international, not very romantic I know but good fun. The food was lovely, we went with his recommendations and were not disappointed, tender meat, perfect pasta and top notch sauces. A great night out, I can't recommend it highly enough. ”

“ Al Vantaggio was a perfectly decent family restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, and the food was freshly-prepared and tasty. This restaurant ia not going to set the world on fire, but I would think would be a reliable bet for anyone seeking a good-quality, relaxed evening. The meal was not cheap, and we were disappointed to notice that other people were eating from a (cheaper?) set menu which we were not offered as an option. ”

“ Very typical italian restaurant. Honest food and nice service. When we were there for lunch it was quiet so I suppose the ambiance gets better if its more busy. ”
