Granted, it's a while since I've eaten here, but when I did it was good. I remember it has these underground caverns and the risotto was excellent. Strange considering it's in such a touristy location.

After our first 2 nights in Rome she was losing hope. Then we stumbled upon Al Picchio. Once we stepped inside we knew this was different. menu's not translated, great waiters, very experienced. A sort of a rustic charm to the place. our waiter was very helpful and made lots of suggestions. Sineasd got her own thing and I went along with what the waiter suggested, I fared better... To this day, I dont know what it was but it was beautiful. We had a lovely time here and would not think twice about coming again.close
