   Al Boschetto is situated in the centre of Rome near Piazza Navona and the Via Nazionale shopping street. You can eat the famous "funghi porcini", fresh fish and home made desserts. It's a warm welcoming place with an inside garden. I say just try!

   "Hostaria Isidoro al Colosseo" is one of Rome's best known restaurant. It's situated near the Colosseum and they have a great choise of first courses, grilled meat and delicious home made desserts. A nice warm place and friendly people. Definitely to try!

It's a bit out of... more This restaurant opened only a few years ago and quickly established itself with the Romans because of the quality of the food at really value-for-money prices. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is excellent and inventive and the wines are very good value for money. It's a bit out of the way, being up beyond Trastevere next to the Gianicolo hill, but it's only a taxi ride away and the walk back down the hill through Trastevere is very pleasant.close

It is 'the' fish restaurant of Rome - and it shows. The food is delicious and inventive, served by efficient, professional staff. One of the interesting starters is a hot and cold selection of little dishes of fish that has not been cooked exactly but marinated in various ways. Absolutely delicious, but very expensive! Again, a splash-out venue for that special occasion. A lot noisier than the more staid and formal Il Convivio (reviewed here as well).close

    Otello is very close to Spanish steps. Altough, It can be hard to find where it is. There are plenty of restaurants on the street but Otello's entrance looks like a tunnel looking at a courtyard. They have various foods like meat, pasta, traditional Italian foods etc. All of them smell great. There are seats inside and outside. It would be better to seat outside in summer. Cause it's really cool and shady tables outside. Try the pasta otello not ont he menu but one of their specialities also ask for the wine list as the wine listed on the menu is limited and they do have an extensive wine listclose
