I would recomend this hostel to anyone looking for a quiet place to go with a lot of authentic Italian character.close

Staff was really great, the rooms are a little far if your walking from the station, but it was still a great place.

She doesn't take credit card. It didn't even seem like she was expecting us. The toilet and shower are in her bathroom. The shower is very small. Other than that we got a great room for what we paid and we had a very nice stay. I'd stay here again.

Great location - close to Termini Station. The lady who runs the place is very friendly but doesn't speak any English (although that didn't cause any problems). Rooms were clean and serviced daily.

This place is actually a pension. Great location, fairly clean. Lots of street noise though. The lovely lady that runs it speaks no English so you may need some basic Italian.

The lady speaks Itallian only so its really hard to comunicate. Its not hotel as we expected but more like 'zimmer frei'. There was a kind of smell in the room and also it was dark. It has one shared bathroom which is not suitable for fat people at all :-) Although the location is excellent!...

She was very sweet, only spoke Italian, and tried to be helpful. Location was great, near the main station and there was a nice restaurant a few streets up plus a street market each day and other shops if you needed stuff. We had a nice time, but it would probably get crowded if there were other guests sharing the bathroom. we didn't expect a fun factor and though basic, it suited our needs!close

Location is the strongest point of this house. The house is clean, but looks old and dark. Hosts don't speak English.

Good quality/price ratio, very close to all public transportation; great if you're looking for the cheapest accommodation.

The location is great, very close to many locations. the shared bathroom for the floor is a bit of a hassle. one bathroom and w/c in one room shared with the whole floor of at least 10 ppl. the only good thing is there is a sink in every room.

The shared bathroom and shower were not great but we managed. It is small with only three rooms which may have been dull if you were on your own. The room was basic but fine,. V close to station.

We had 2 stays at the hotel (2 days and 3 days). The first 2 days were ok. The room was clean and bathroom was ok.) The 3-day stay was also in a double bed room with shared bathroom. This time the bed was very bad and the bathroom was very poor (dirty, water all over the floor, loose toiletseat).

Fuggetta & Vichi Hotel is not a garden spot. Stay here only if you need no assistance from the non existant staff and can sleep with a lot of street noise. Very spare room, but close to railway station.

The area isn't great, but it's pretty close to the train station, which is a great hub for getting to the metro and around Rome. It was clean enough, though, and the people seemed nice, but didn't really speak English very well. The place also has ancient locks and it was really hard to unlock (or lock for that matter) the apartment door or the door to our room.close

The website information was misleading and inaccurate to say the least for eg. this place is a pensione not a hotel. No towels were provided but it was mentioned on the website there would be towels. There were bloodstains on my bedsheet and the bathroom was disgusting. I had had enough after seeing the bathroom and decided to leave the pensione the next morning (we arrived in Rome at around 11pm). Cancelling hotels is my right, and I let the owner know asap to avoid inconveinece however this was made highly unpleasant by the fact that the lady owner told me very rudely to leave. I suspect she was angry that we came to reception at 11:30pm(you have stated that this accomdation has 24 hour reception and I didnt want to be charged another night in this place). She was extremely rude and hostile I have never been treated so badly. Eventually my friend and I went to another hotel, recommended by her (we had no choice) after she calmed down in the morning. I am highly dissatisfied with the website information and I want a portion of my deposit back (which was US37.75) because I feel the website mislead me into thinking I could actually enjoy my stay in Rome. It is extremely unfair to state misleading info on the website and beacuse of this I had a terrible first night in Rome.close
