Flaminio is a great camping - prices are affordable in restuarant and bar. A shame that some of the Firenze bungalows were a bit run down due to the end of the season maybe? And pity that the road to the railway station is very busy a second zebra closer to the camping is maybe a good option...

Basic, but saves money being out of the city. The bathrooms for the camping ground are incredible... so nice... even has classical music and fountains and seats for the mirrors!

this hostal wich i really don't consider a hostal its really far from the city. its where european families go, to get away from the city. you see trailer homes with families , babies grandparents and what now, def no the travelers mood. i don't recommended

It's look like more a hotel than a hostel. A little far from the centre but good price and confort. Nice breakfast and swimming pool. Unfortunatelly we stayed just one night. But we would like to stay again.

The staff here was fantastic. This was a nice change from a traditional hostel or hotel in Europe. It was nice to have a little more space. The bungalows are nice and the dog park nearby is not really an issue. We also never had a problem with hot water. Thanks to all the staff.

If you're into camping it's very nice, but if you think the private bungalows sound fun...you're wrong. It's in the middle of nowhere in which you have to cross a highway to get to- w/ no lights/crosswalks. Everyone had to say something to get warm water, otherwise it came in cold and very cold.

As for the Bungalows, ours F-4: The combined A/C Heat machine was too loud.. impossible to sleep at night because of the noise it generated, the cabin vibrated in certain times! also.. the warm/cold mixer in the dousch didn't do a great job.. other than that.. ok

Was a great site, and close to train, bus and supermarket, but you have to run across a motorway to get to the entrance. There were rats in the walls but the bathrooms were fantastic, you could eat off the floor they were so clean.

We booked a private twin with shared bathroom. Contrary to what is written on this website (they changed it now), towels and linen where not included, and they told us that they had never heard about the welcome pack, although we can see a comment from 2 weeks before saying they had the same problem. That\'s false advertising, and the woman at the reception was very unkind, we had to argue for half an hour to get our sheets and blankets. And contrary to what is written on the door, the bathroom is absolutely not cleaned daily, you have to ask for it. The rooms are not cleaned at all during the stay and we had to clean it upon arrival because there was too much dust. Insolation is also very bad : we could hear our neighbor snoring (although our rooms didn\'t even had a common wall !). And there is no power plug in the rooms. Only one in the bathroom (shared between two rooms). Apart from that, it\'s a very nice place to sleep, especially considering the price paid. The public facilities are perfectly clean and it\'s quiet. The first time the camping is a bit hard to find and the five minutes walk between the train station and the camping is very unsafe. But train makes access really convenient. When we arrived we were treated very unkindly because we had paid the cheapest price but we finally enjoyed our stay here. As long as you just want to have a room it\'s a good place.close

Everything was clean and perfect. The only thing is that we were driving a car and they didn't tell us that they don't let cars inside the complex during quiet hours (11pm thru 6am or something like that). It was a pain to walk all the way to our room, but other than we liked it.

We had a bungalow room with shared facilities. This ment there was a toilet and cold shower between 2 twin room. About 3min walk away was the most amazing shower/bathroom block I've ever seen, brand new, clean and endless hot showers and straight out of a 5 star hotel. Its not to hard to get to just one change on the train however trains stop working around 10.30pm. The bus and night bus are easy to use tho and staff give you all the required information. they run all night, I recomend getting a weekly travel pass from a newspaper stand its £12 and works on everything. It is a bit hard to find the first time as directions arnt the best. SO.. get off the train at Due Ponte and leave the platform on the same side. You walk on the road around a corner untill you hit the main road. Turn left and then keep walking straight (dont vere left again) straight pass a suppermarket and then you see it on your right it is only about 200m once you hit the main road. It really is great value for money and I would go back. We were in the off season so no info point, internet or bar etc. It may have more going on in the summer. Also the advertised special deal of meal, wine and bus tour doesnt exist. We asked about it and got fobbed off, bit of false advertising me thinks : )close

Not a bad place to stay. KInd of out of the way. The write-up says that it is only 200 metres from the metro station, but it is more like 1 or 2 km's. Other than the 15 minute walk every day to the train station, it was a good place to stay.

The location was OK (about 40 minutes outside central Rome) but the staff were very rude to us. There are absolutely no cooking facilities (not even for the campers) and the free breakfast does not actually exist.. its a summer time only thing, even though they advertise free breakfast on the website. Our cabin heaters broke one night and we froze as they only provide one small thin blanket. When we complained we were treated like morons. Our bathroom was cleaned once in 5 days even though it saya in the roms that they are claned daily. There are no common facitlies so you cant meet other people, and it also means that when you are there you are incredilbly bored. The place is also set up exclusilvely for travellers in cars as the cabins/campsites are a 10 minute walk from the reception. We reccommend you spend the extra 5 euro and stay in a hostel in central rome. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!close
