Katharina and Roberto are very nice, for information Roberto speaks french, you can ask them everything, they have always time for you. The location is great, just a 10 minutes walk to the Vatican, and 5 minutes walk from the metro. Very clean place, very good quality price…

It has been a very nice and fine accomodation. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the location was exactely as I wished. Very close to almost everything (the Metro station is a five minutes walk from the B&B), it completely satisfied me. Thank to Roberto & Caterina!

This place is a real gem. Very clean, safe and very quiet. The double room was like a dancing hall. The bathroom on our side of the corridor was splendid, breakfast was more than enough. Catherina explained us all the sights to see, how to get there and what to do. I would not hesitate a second...

Stay away. It's not 1 step, more like 20min on foot to the Vatican. NOT convenient to visit center, there's no metro near Pantheon,other. Shower was clogged, flooded the bathroom. The hostel was amazing. The people who ran it were so nice and accommodating. There was always snacks and such to eat during the day. The rooms were very nice and it was reasonably priced. It is a 10 min walk from the Vatican and the subway into the city. If I ever go back I'll be sure to stay here!

This felt like a 2nd home; Katy welcomed me, gave me a map of Rome and explained the main sites and how to get around. The place was spotless and I felt safe at all times. I will definitely return.

The people who run this place are amazing. They answer any questions one might have and are the nicest people in the world. Katharina and Roberto wonderful hosts, helpful and very accommodating. Very clean environment, welcoming and an overall very pleasant stay. Would definitely come back. Lovely roof top terrace too. Excellent location.

Beautiful place to stay for couples and big groups. Roberto and the staff really take care of you and help you settle in. Loved the rooftop terrace, spacious rooms and kitchen full of food. Not exactly a step from St Peter's though!

Staff was very warm and helpful. Place was immaculate and very well located. Vatican, just a block or so away, Metro stop the same. Terrace provided an amazing view of this amazing city. I highly recommend this hostel (more like a B&B) - John

We had an altogether lovely stay at 1 Step from St Peter, thanks very much. We loved the roof-terrace and the close proximity to the sights - we walked everywhere and it was wonderful!

Really awesome place to stay. Not really somewhere to go if you are looking for a crazy time in rome. But its comfortable safe and clean. It feels like staying at a friends apt while they are out of town.

Lovely & quiet, definately not for those looking for a party. Good location to chill out, located close to the Vatican so sight seeing is easy. Not too far a walk from the metro too which was great!

1 Step far outweighed our expectations. Fantastic facilities, very clean and a good staff team. Also to mention the roof terrace is out of this world....... Book now, probably the best hostel i've been in Europe.
