100%Ipanema/Leblon Beach

If you gotta choose between ipanema and copacabana, choose Ipanema. It's a lot cleaner and safer then copacabana also the view of "pedra da gavea" makes it more worth going there.

The most visited beach in Rio de Janeiro. Separated by the "Jardim de Ala" canal, Ipanema and Leblon have different types of frequentor, Ipanema is more frequented by young peoples and Leblon is as they say there "for the oldies" but they are both beautifull beaches.... more The most visited beach in Rio de Janeiro. Separated by the "Jardim de Ala" canal, Ipanema and Leblon have different types of frequentor, Ipanema is more frequented by young peoples and Leblon is as they say there "for the oldies" but they are both beautifull beaches. <br><br>Many hotels are located on the main costal street. If you go there, don't forget to go to the Arpoador Stone, located at the very end of the Ipanema side, there you'll have an amazing view of both beaches, and during the sunset you wont belive your eyes, it's gorgeous.close
