Not in the best location, but it was easy to get around by metro. Stayed during Carnival so met heaps of other young travellers, had a good time. Staff don~]t speak much english though!

The staff were very friendly and helpful but the place needs to be re-wired. We were almost electrocuted twice by hanging wires in our bathroom and we heard of a number of other people who were shocked by dodgy wiring or their showers.close

There appeared to be some confusion about the booking and payment for this hotel on hostel world. The manager claimed the man we sent money to through western union was not actually an employee of this hotel. I would advise calling the hotel rather than emailing them, the staff do speak english...

Not good value for money, stayed during carnival & was a rip of considering the lack of facilities. Have travelled around Brasil & stayed in lots of better hostels for much less. Hotel reception door open allnight with no lock & people smoking crack outside our window.

Staff were very helpful, but the rooms were very basic and it was quite noisy. Wouldn´t stay there for more than a few days.
