To be honest I would not recommend it.close

Fun Hostel. We were in a 'twin' ensuite which had bunk beds and no window. Not the best room to get over jet lag as the bar is right beside it. Walking distance to the beach.

This 'more expensive room' had no windows, no air and was next to the bar. Within 45 minutes of arrival we had decided to leave and checked out the next day. Due to the fact the room was dark, small, stuffy, windowless and the stairs smelt of bleach masking sick, we dubbed the place Deathstel. Not our cup of tea but who knows, other people seemed to be having a good time.close

The hostel looks very nice and offers many aditional services. If you come to party it is an excellent hostel. If you would like a little peace and quiet; go somewhere else. We asked for a double room, in stead received a bunk bed in a tiny room with no windows right next to the bar where the...

The private rooms were like sleeping in a cupboard, without windows; or space. besides, there were a lot of noise, and not respect for people that doesn't want only to party there.

we ordered the twin room and they gave us a very very small room with no window, near the bar which was very loud. The stuff wasn´t nice and the hole place was really really small. We paid a lot and we got less!!! We moved to other hostel (much better) and we canceled our order.

Definitely the right place to meet ppl and have some fun. You can't go wrong with a bar and wood oven on the roof serving the best barbecues in Rio.

The toilets were cleaned once in my 6 night stay (and not very well). The staff were rolling and smoking marihuana in the breakfast room while they were serving you the food. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Staff needs to learn to be nice and friendly with customers and to start working and not drinking yoghurt while your waiting standing at reception for 15 min to pay them.close
