This is an amazing place that really suites couples. It's like a home away from home. As everyone has mentioned the breakfast is beyond good, the staff are amazing, and in terms of location, you really couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended !!!!

The owners are awesome at helping you enjoy your time in Rio with booking trips and recommending places. While we stayed there, they are dance classes which we joined in (despite being completely useless at it compared to the Brazilians, they helped us to learn). The location in old Santa Teresa is a different but worthwhile experience in Rio, especially is you want to access some of the culture. Access to the beaches in the South Zone is easy; take the tram (bonde) down to Carioca station and then catch the train. And the views from this place!! Loved it!close

Staying at the Villa Casanova was a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the villa was beautiful and being in Santa Teresa with the bonde (tram) nearby is the best way to explore Rio. I highly recommend this place.
