Type: Building dating from the 14th century.

This beautiful building was erected during the 14th century for the Brotherhood of the Blackheads Guild, a guild for unmarried German merchants in Riga. The structure was bombed to a ruin by the Germans in 1941. It was reconstructed in 1995 to 1999.

Type: A magnificent cathedral.

This is one of the centrepieces of the Old Town. It's striking red brick exterior makes this large cathedral un-missable. It also houses a huge organ that was built in 1883 and 1884 and boasts 124 registers and 6828 pipes.
