Great location for touring Old Riga. Very friendly helpful staff.New,nice and clean.One of the nicest hostels we've stayed in this holiday.Highly recommended.

A really nice, new hostel in the heart of the Old Town of Riga. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was good. It's more a hotel than a hostel. One of the best hostels I've ever choosed. The rooms are brand new and clean, the staff is very professinal. Will be back there, the next time I'll stay in Riga.

Arrived at 11.30pm at address Hostelworld gave us & couldn't get in, no one answered door or telephone number we were given in confirmation. After 30 minutes we looked for a hotel when a stranger helped & took us to Arganout Hostel who luckily managed to get an alternate tel number.... more Arrived at 11.30pm at address Hostelworld gave us & couldn't get in, no one answered door or telephone number we were given in confirmation. Juan's had not just moved but also changed name to 'Ala'! There is no way we would have found this out & would have had to pay for another hotel. Please update your contacts !!close

Great Hostel, friendly staff and and very welcoming and cosy hostel. The only thing was that the directions were wrong and no hostel signs on the building outside. But overall i enjoyed it :) recommended hostel !!

We had little bit problems to find the place, since the directions we got when booking were for the place where the hostel is moving. Breakfast was there in new place, but it was right around the corner. But this was no problem :) Hannah was very nice and helpful. Location is very good. We had a great time at Juan's Riga Hostel. Since we booked a double room, we got a room actually in another building, just around the corner in the new "Ala Hotel". Big and very clean rooms, very helpful staff, great!

Really good place and location , good price and a good group of people who run it, only negative really is the building dose not absorb much sound even the closing of a door can make a bang

Second time this summer here. The breakfast has improved even. The location is perfect, only a couple of minutes to the airport bus. The bathrooms are fine, very clean.

really easy to meet people and the staff are very very nice and helpful and fun to talk to! easy to get there from the bus station after a tiring bus ride, but close from all the attractions, and normally it's been kept very clean. cozy atmosphere like your home! only down point for having no...

Perfect location. Friendly, relaxed and helpfull staff. Peacefull place. The only thing I was a bit worried was security since sometimes (if I remember right) during the day all the doors all the way from the street were open.

Lovely, clean and very homely hotel :) Flexible and friendly service. We enjoyed our visit greatly. Juan makes you feel very welcome. We had even strawberries on breakfast table!

Really clean, relaxed hostel. Staff have good info on things to do, places to see, will come out for a drink if you want. good ammenities, full kitchen , free internet etc. Highly recommended Thanks Juan!!

Do not search longer, stay here! Very clean hostel, awesome location in Old Town and 5 mins from the busstation. Juan is the best host you can imagine, he will serve zou breakfast as well. Thanks Juan!

I've spent one night in Juan's Hostel. That's perfect place to stay in Riga. That's brand new hostel is really clean, Juan is so nice guy, you can eat nice and free breakfast, check your e-mail box. Very clean hostel and nice bathtub in the 10mixed rooms. Very nice TV screen for football fans and very helpful staff :). I wold highly recommend people to come here for a comfortable stay and i do hope the price will stay the same all the time :)...

stuff are really nice and kind and fun,hostel was nice and clean.i think it's the most cleanest hostel i've ever seen!location was also nice,cos it's close to bus station and train station and old town.nice tv and free internet...i already miss this hostel!
