We stayed in a double room. The room faced the main square of Riga with a great view and it was fairly quiet with the windows closed. The kitchen and common room were small but functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and especially helpful when we arrived after being pickpocked...

The most center one I would say. But just rooms with a little common/tv room and also with no age limits, I mean, there was no young people I think when I was there. So fun is not actually guaranteed. Nice family host staff.

great location right next to the Dome. The lady who runs it speaks basic English and tends to switch to Russian quickly. but she's nice and helpful. The facilities are OK, it could be a bit cleaner. It lacks a space for socializing, at least I haven't found it, but I've only been there for one...

Although the bathroom was quite clean, our room was pretty grim - dusty dirty floor, sticky coffee table, and a bed covered in someone else's hair! Yuck. Security is a bit of a joke - all the locks and security codes in the world are pointless when the doors are just left open and swinging in... more

Excellent location for this hostel. Friendly staff and always clean. The only downside is that only one person can fit into the kitchen at any one time.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! This place is a joke. We booked a 6 bed dorm, only to have staff come in at 2am put matresses on the floor and turn it into a VERY small 8 bed dorm. We tried to complain, but reception which was meant to be open at 8am was still not open at 9:30 when we left for our train.... more

The location and staff were great, however if you are not going out and getting drunk at night, you might have a little culture clash with the other people staying at this hostel.
