The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. They spent time to share local stories and culture. The hostel was great, spacious room, clean toilet and shower, good ambiance in the kitchen and also very cozy living room. It's the best hostel we have been in Europe!

Excellent hostel. Staff are a lot of fun and the most helpful staff I've found in any hostel yet. If you come to Riga, stay here.

When we arrived we noticed that the walls were very thin and we could here people talk in the other rooms and in the hall. However, during the night it became quiet and we were able to sleep very well in the comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend City Lounge Hostel to travelers who like it clean and simple and want to stay in the city centre.close

We really enjoyed our staying in this extra ordinary hostel. The staff is very good and nice (he even gave us a water pipe "shisha" free of charge). The only difference beetwen '3 star hotel and this hostel is "s" in the name.

definitely one of the best hostel we have been to. Very original and comfortable. The original design and decoration are really well chosen. We will go back there for sure if we go back to Riga again. We recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Latvia.

We stayed in bora bora room (all room's are themed). It was a great hostel and you can walk to all the main Riga attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a kitchen to make your own meals too.
