A great place to stay if you want to be a little bit outside the old town and get to know the ace bars and coffee shops that are less... more touristy! Also really homely and a good laugh, a bit like having your own cool flat in riga for the weekend - and carlis who runs the hostel is ace :) close ”

  “ OK I was there for literally 5-6 hours (long layover in Riga), and let me tell, I had a such a blast with Carlis. We went to Old Town, had a couple of beers, then went to the shooting range...what an adrenaline rush! everyone should try this! The House Hotel is well located and you can pretty... more pretty much walk to all the sights. It's also spacious, spotless, and cozy. I would totally live here if I could! close ”

The owner does his best to entertain his guests and shows them all the good places in town. The hostels living room is very nice, the private room is a good deal and the dorms are... more are very good too. I can highly recommend the Canoe-trip organized by the owner. There are no lockers, which I didn't need, because I was the only guest of the hostel and that is the biggest con of the hostel: it is extremly quiet during the week.... more week.
