In the heart of Reykjavik just a walking distance from shops, pubs, restaurants, art galleries and museums is Hotel Floki, a clean and comfortable hotel with rooms, apartments and sleeping bag accommodations. Hotel Floki has been serving Reykjavik's visitors since 1967; now under new management our goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable during your stay with us. In a short walking distance is the city centre, Laugavegur shopping street, downtown, city harbour and whale watching, museums, bars, restaurants, Mnt. Esja view, swimming pools, shopping mall, domestic airport, Downtown Park and pond, Kjarvalsstadir museum and park, Perlan restaurant, Kringlan shopping centre, Bicycle rent, art galleries, Helmmur bus station, BSI tour bus station, Nautolfsvik beach, Laugardalur zoo and park. All of the cities main attractions are close by and if you wish to take a tour to the country site your bus will pick you up right at our doorstep. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will find a warm reception at Hotel Floki and moderate prices. We take pride in our personal service and friendly environment making sure that you will feel right at home during your stay with us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- All our rooms have wireless internet, TV, mini fridge, telephone and Tea & coffee maker. Guests have access to laundry and kitchen facilities. -We have 32 spacious rooms with shared bathroom and shower facilities. -Private and shared dorms for sleeping bag accommodations. -Family apartments with a private bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. You are within reach of everything the city has to offer when you stay at Floki. Our check in time is from 14:00-03:00, please note that most flight from the USA arrive in Iceland between 06:00 and 08:00 in the morning. If you wish to check in early we can offer you the night before you arrive for half price. We look forward to welcoming you.

“ This hotel is in a very good position, 5 minutes walk from the city center and from the BSI bus station. The sleeping bag accomodation are quite big and very clean and the staff is very helpful with everything you want to do (book excursions, leave the luggage there for some days and so on..).... more ”

“ The location is excellent right in the heart of Reykavik. Tours around Iceland can be arranged, and they pick you up at the hostel. The bus station is within 10 min walking distance where the bus goes to the airport for 1700 iskr. The place is more a hotel. This means you wont be meeting people... more ”
