Welcome to Einholt studio apartments guesthouse. Einholt is a modern stylish self catering apartment guesthouse located in Reykjavik city centre offering 14 double studio apartments all with a private bathroom and a kitchenette. The guesthouse is just few steps away from Laugavegur our main shopping street, filled with clothe and culture stores, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Cleaning during my stay appeared to involve making the bed while leaving the bathroom and counters uncleaned and the floor unswept. I would rather that I had been... more undisturbed, as my clothes had been laid out on the bed and ready to pack when I left my room, and were thrown in a heap on top of my suitcase when I returned. close ”

  “ We arrived to find that there had been a technical error in our reservation. But the owner and manager was kind enough to upgrade us to a much bigger and nicer room with a great view. The prices are unbeatable! He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and memorable. We loved Iceland... more Iceland and will surely return to Einholt / Bolholt Apartments when we get back! close ”

  “ We did not actually get to see the inside of a room at Einholt despite the fact that we had two confirmed reservations to stay there. The first time the guy at the front desk said he'd given our room away to people who had come in late the night before. The second time he said he was booked... more solid. In both instances he found us rooms at other hostels (one much further away). He was unapologetic both times, though he did give us a discount the second time. Still would NOT recommend. close ”

It's basically the lower level of an apartment complex and the rooms are mini studios complete with stove top and mini fridge. The staff were the only rude Icelanders... more Icelanders we met on our trip however. For some reason, they just don't seem that into their little venture. It's also worth noting that the major tour groups in Reykjavik don't know of this guesthouse and therefore won't arrange drop off or pick ups. We had to wander around a bit before we found the place. close ”
