“ A comfortable hostel right bang in the centre of bustling Rekjavic. Private rooms in the main building, as well as a mixed dorm block opposite which is quite large, so easy to meet others, although some separation and privacy with the hospital style curtains. Nice communal kitchen and dining area... more ”

“ Location very good, and good axcess to the Internet. Light, sparsely furnitured rooms. A little trouble with getting our room at arrival, seems to be miscommunication between Hostelworld and the hotell. Staff didn't give a very reliable impression. Cleaning of bathrooms was not very good. ”

“ The staff at this hostel are very nice. The kitchen is big and sometimes there are even leftovers from previous guests, good for poor travelers. The rooms are enormous as well. A great place to stay in Reykjavik ”

“ Great location and very clean. Showers were good and rooms were well heated. It was very quiet though. I was hoping to meet some people but there are no organised activities and it was not a social atmosphere even in the dorm. Breakfast was overpriced if staying in the dorm - much easier... more ”

“ There were a lot of people in the dorm so a lot of coming and going. The facilities were spotless and the shower facilities were superb. “ The dorm I stayed in was just enormous- there were some 20 two-level beds in a big hall. So not easy to get some sleep since regularly somebody walks in or out ... and of course- snoring should be always problem there. ”

“ This is one of the cheapest hostels with an excellent location. However, the beds are pretty awful and the bathrooms were not so great. Some staff were very helpful, others made things more difficult than they should be. No common room makes it hard to meet people. ”

“ This place could not be in a better spot, right in town. However the place still needs some work, wiring for the lights in the dorm hanging out of the wall and some of the mattresses have seen better days. But its clean and cheap by icelandic standards. ”
