The city is beautiful, especially the view from the top of the mountain. There was a culture festival at the time I travelled (Semana Santa) and that was amazing. Vallartasol 81%
The hotel room was spacious, but not clean. It is located in a newer district - lots of American Chain restaurants around, however if you want a more authentic cuisine, I would suggest driving to the CENTRO. Overall, it was a good place to stay for that price range.

– posted on Nov 2007 2A ok stay in Vallarta, there is nothing wrong with the Hotel. You get nice big rooms and the pool is nice. However the staff is not really friendly and its far to the city center (take the bus its cheaper).

Hotel Suites La Siesta 73%
They had no idea I actually had a reservation with. None of the staff knew how to get their information from the hostelworld website. I ended up having to walk to a nearby netcafe and print off my reservation information. And then they tried charging more because it's the high/spring break...

– posted on Mar 2006 2the place had a lot of character with its ceramics and tile work. My only problem was that the beds were REALLY Hard! My neck and back bothering me for a few days as a result.

Embarcadero Pacifico Hotel 60%
A nice location in the marina at Vallarta. Quite noisy though if your near the night theatre. Generally very good value for money - nice that it has beach and Marina areas - food was good, drink was good. WOuld recommend but ask for room away from the outdoor theatre!!
