The Square and Centre where most sights, the opera, eateries and shops are located is more than the quoted 5 minute walk (more like 10+). New room decor mostly clean and modern but if you want slippers to avoid the already stained carpet you must rent an executive kit that includes a robe for an eye watering £25 per person. Ouch! Even a shower cap needs requesting from house keeping. Overall disappointing. Were it the cheaper Ibis next door ones expectations and room rate would be lower to avoid disappointment. Front street facing room was quiet and looks out into hospital windows opposite. Close to underground and tram but in Prague everything is quite close together so if you are there to see the city I'd recommend a walk over the tube any day. Even the well worthwhile Vyserhad or Petrin Hill is walkable.close
