Hotel is located very nicely, close to Krizikova subway station, there are also trams very near. To go to the city centre it is only 2-3 subway stations, it is also possible to walk to centre but we havent try. Rooms are ok, bathrooms are fine. The owner (?) was a bit rude at the beginning - this...

Hotel Karlin is an easy 15 - 20 minute walk to the center. My room was big and clean and the breakfasts were good. For Prague, it was good value for the money.

The hotel was very clean and the bathrooms were spacious, as advertised by many travellers. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the tram which takes you into the center of the city. Good deal for what you pay.

Excellent hotel for the price. Will absolutely stay there again. Only downside is that the rooms facing the street have the tram running outside; so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs!

It was easy to tell that the owner has put a lot of money into the hotel. Not in the center of town but very close to the metro stop and two tram lines. Stay here!close

I would recommend Hotel Karlin to anybody looking for a budget hotel in Prague.close

A good hotel. A little far from the city center; about a 20 minute walk. In general, very clean, great breakfast and a good price for what you get.

Close to a metro station. The room was excellent, great bed, good shower. Breakfast also very good. I just think that the streets around this hotel are too empty at night so I was not feeling safe to go back to the hotel late at night. And there was no internet... Only if you have a laptop.

This is not a hostel, it's a hotel, so if you travelling and you want to meet people, forget it... it's quiet and not sociable (hey, it's a hotel, what do you expect). It's a nice hotel though, very modern and clean and really nice rooms and ensuite bathrooms. But breakfast is bad...

I loved that hotel! Location is quite good - 20 min to walk to city center or 5 min by tube; very clean; friendly stuff; turist info; they have breakfast included; as well a restaurant belonging to the hotell.
