moreI talked my partner into splashing out on a more luxurious hotel and we were not disappointed. My birthday fell on one of the days that we stayed and I included a message on the online booking form, (more tongue in cheek than anything else) that it was my birthday. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the Junior Suite. Whether this was because of the message I'm not sure.
The room was excellent but I wouldn't advise paying extra for it as the only obvious benefit was a much larger room.
Staff are very friendly, they'll go out of their way to say hello. I must add that this not the case when out and about in Prague. A lot of Cafe and Restaurant staff members are rude.
We ate in the restaurant once and both thoroughly enjoyed it. They have an offer on if you eat there on your first night and this made the price reasonable.
The choice at breakfast was good, as was the quality. The only thing I didn't like was the dodgy sausages that Praguers appear to love.
We went down to the Sauna area once and had it to ourselves which was a bonus. It's small but very nice.
The tram stop is outside the hotel and you can buy tickets at reception for no extra cost. I would recommend the tram for getting to the shopping and Jewish area.
I highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind being slightly out of the centre.close
