Ladies at the Boathouse were kind warm and considerate. They made us dinner when we arrived late and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable... even when my girlfriend was being a moody cow.

It's not so ideal as a base to see Prague from for a few days. The hosts were friendly enough but busy, definitely not friendlier than elsewhere though. Internet access was inconvenient, the shared loo was downstairs from our room, and having a 20min train ride into town was a pain. On the positive side, it was clean, breakfast was great, and there was a communal dining/lounge room.close

Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The rooms and beds are cozy and the staff is beyond gracious and helpful. Try their food if you can, they are also great cooks!

It was really one of the best hostels I have ever been in. The staff is great, the rooms are nicely decorated and cosy, the breakfast included fine. Everything was very good. It is a bit far from the city center, but really easily reachable, it is about cca 20min to go by bus to the city center.... more It was really one of the best hostels I have ever been in. Very nice place, it's true it is a bit out of town but definitely a nice place to relax! While we were there the tram was not going due to some construction works, so check with the hostel how to get there if you're not sure. the location seems far away from the centre of the city, especially the maitenice of the tram line makes this even worse, you have to transfer another bus. besides this all of the others are quite good

The best bathroom I have ever used at a hostel and so clean, it was a joy to stay there - great for some time away from the city but still only a 10 min tram ride away! Would definatly stay there again.

we moved straight out of this hostel and into Prague Central Hostel (which was awesome)...its too far out and there was no one else staying there!! however, if it was busy and you were travelling in a big group then you'll be fine as the staff are nice and it is clean.

The Boathouse Hostel is a brilliant place to stay when visitng Prague. The tram ride in and out of town was very quick and ended up being a senic ride. The staff were extremely kind and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

staff is amazing, mom and others all rock, only complaint would be location as it is quite far from city center, (trams do run all night though) however, it does make it quiet and peaceful at night and it is on the river and a golf course so all and all i would totally stay there again!

A good place to stay for a long time. A little away from the city, otherwise it is too good. There was some problem with the hot water in the morning, but was taken care immediately by the lady. The rooms were neat and clean.

WONDERFUL HOSTEL!!!!!!! All the staff were so incredibliy friendly and nice! The location is a bit out of town, about 15 minutes by tram. Very nice secure area, close to bike trails. I would definitely go stay there again!

Staff is exceptionally friendly like everyone else mentioned. We arrived around midnight and had no trouble getting in. Located a bit away from all the action, but the tram is easy to use and comes fairly often. The bathrooms are great, and the breakfast is more than satisfactory with many...

I nice relaxing hostel outside of the city but on the water. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was the best I had in all of Europe. A fantastic choice!

It;s a wonderful, relaxing hostel. It's a place for sitting down, relaxing, and being with your loved one(s). Clean, delicious, and friendly. I will be back for my next visit in Prague

Very relaxing; location has its drawbacks being relatively far from the center, but its view of being right on the Vltava makes up for that in full. Absolutely beautiful!

This hostel is unusual for being in a park-like setting with lots of recreation possible. A real dining room which is spacious with good cheap food. Bathrooms are great. Clothes washing service. Highly recommended.

GREAT HOSTEL, clean, good attention, great enviroment, near the river, nice place to relax, but if you want something more central, maybe its not the best choice (15-25 minutes to center but a bus takes you directly, no combinations needed)

This hostel was perfect for me. I was looking for a place to relax and regroup. The ladies were so helpful with advice and assistance. Everything was clean and safe. The only down side to this hostel was that it was about a 20 minute tram ride from down town.

A little out of the way, but right near a tram stop straight into the city. Location aside, this was one of the best I stayed at during my 3 week trip to Europe. A great 'homey' place for relaxation in the midst of a long trip away from home. And the beers are cheap too!
