At first sight… Sant Jordi Prague is the new hostel of the famous Spanish Sant Jordi Hostel chain. It is run by a young international staff that is waiting to help you in any matter. This hostel is different compared to most of the hostels, since it is more a home, than simply a bed. It is a place where we add a personal touch. A place where you can be whoever you want to be. Whether you like to chill out with a book in one of the hammocks, have a chat with one of your fellow travellers during breakfast, completely change your travel plans in front of the computer, have a laugh and a cold beer during our weekly barbeque, or watch a movie for a change from your previous intense cultural visits; we are looking forward to meet you! Neighbourhood Our hostel is located in the new upcoming art nouveau area of Prague. You will find several Czech restaurants, bars, and clubs just around the corner. And a 15-minute walk, or a 5-minute tram ride, will bring you to old town square. Facilities If our hostel is not a palace, it is not far from it. But this is definitely a place you will not want to leave soon. Do not worry about carrying that heavy backpack any further than our doorsteps… we have an elevator! Our fully equipped kitchen is waiting for you to make your own home-cooked meal. The lounge provides you with a wide range of DVD`s, a big comfy sofa and computers with free internet. If you feel like escaping the busy city life you can relax in one of the balconies, patios or in our beautiful garden. Our hostel will be filled up with visitors, but heads up, every room has its own bathroom. As we do not like rules too much ourselves, there is no curfew, or any weird prohibitions. Staff Our staff will go well out of our way to assist you anyway possible. Either to tell you about some undiscovered spots in Prague or to take care of you after an adventurous disappointment in your trip; nothing is too crazy for us. Since we have been all over the world ourselves, we think we can provide you with a perfect mixture of hospitality and experience. Perhaps we can even talk with you in your own language. Cleanliness is a thing we care about a lot. That is why our lovely cleaning staff works everyday to keep the hostel shiny clean. News Flash! - We are happy to announce we have personal lockers in the room! - Our reception works from 9AM till 12PM, if you check out early, please let us know the night before. If you check in late, no worries, just let us know in time wo we will be waiting for you! - We are constructing a bar and second lounge in the basement, so you can make noise as long as you want to, without bothering your sleeping fellow travellers! - We offer an all-you-can-eat breakfast in the morning for 100 CZK, with cereals, yoghurt, pancakes, eggs, etc. Since we figured everybody likes their eggs differently in the morning, it is a buffet where you can make it yourself. Though if you do not feel like making it, we are more than happy to help you! And if you miss anything please let us know.

hostel was clean and tidy with excellent facilities. Some small maintainance issues (nothing major) I could whinge about it or say it was great...it was inbetween for me. Location was fine once u figured out the trams.

Great rooms in the hostel. Its new so everything is new. It doesnt seem to be finished? There is a full kitchen in the rooms but nothing to use to cook anything (pots plates etc). We booked a 4 bed and got a 5 bed but its 2 levels for the beds which made it okay. Also the bathroom is quite large... more Great rooms in the hostel. Its new so everything is new. Best Hostel for Entertainment. The accomodations are new and perfect for socializing. I stayed here alone and made tons of friends- out on town with others and 5-10min walk to everything. Neighborhood slightly quiet at night in a desolate way...

The staff was awesome. Mostly dealt with Anika. Rooms were clean, and nice. Main complaint is that getting up to the top floor (up the spiral stair case) was very difficult at night. Couldn't seem to find a light switch.

Overall, Sant Jordi Florenc was excellent! The only thing that I would have changed would be to put lockers in the rooms, but other than that I was very happy with my stay. Also, an elevator would be nice since I was all the way on the sixth floor.

This is a hostel that everything was broken!!! When I checked in the lift was broken, the washer was broken, my door frame would just fall apart, the door inside the toilet was broken, seriously I cant believe so many things can be broken in one hostel. Furthernore its pretty far from old town.

Do yourself a favor and get a map before you arrive. Its quite hard to find with all the winding streets. Awsome hostel thought. Breakfast is the best and watching movies on the big screen t.v was tops. Getting into town is a bit annoying but its not a bad walk.
