Really amazing and great city! Monuments, nature, people I wish I was there now!

OK so this place is weird... the hostel is scary for a start, think of an old abandoned hospital or mental ward and a horror film and you kinda have a visual on the place. The city is kinda depressing but I must say the town square is really nice and quite lovely... it's just that everywhere else is either down right depressing or full of scary looking guys with shaved heads. not sure why but the majority of men in Poznan have no hair!!!

Poznan is a great spot in Poland. It isn't huge so doesn't have a whole lot to see but what is there is beautiful. Also the general atmosphere is nice. I didn't spend a lot of time there but it seemed there are plenty of cultural opportunities if that is what you seek. The night life was also surprisingly vibrant and rivals that of the larger and more touristic Krakow.

Great place, far more interesting and attractive than Prague, loads to see and do so long as you like Museums and Galleries, fabulous city parks to picnic in everywhere.

Nice, fairly typical Polish city - lots of beautiful Baroque architecture. Interesting museums etc, fairly good on the standard souvenirs, postcards etc. Good variety of restaurants at reasonable prices.
