Very helpful staff, hostel is quite cheap and located close to main spots to visit. They got wireless and tv in common room. Bathrooms are shared but it's ok. Good place to sleep. Poznan as a city is quite interesting.

Good place to stay for the location and the price is amazing. Not a place you want to mingle with the people staying there though!

The info on hostelworld (and in their brochure) noted a free ride to the hostel from the train station, that was a big lie...you only get the free taxi ride if you DON'T have a reservation. You must be clear about these things...don't use false advertising!!!

The place is very shabby and furniture worn out. For the price you pay, you could at least expect towels and clean showers. Don't go to showers barefoot - they remember any bacteria since 1950s (this is a student's residence used as a hostel during vacation, and student residences generally are very shabby and worn out in Poland, and this one would need refurbishing as well). Yet, it has a good location and the staff is helpful. I wouldn't recommend for more than one night's stay there.close

Very basic, but outstanding price/location. There is a coke machine in the foyer, plus you are just 5 mins walk away from 24hr deli and fast-food outlets.

There was no toilet paper in any of the toilets and some lockers or better security would be of an advantage.

As with other Dizzy Daisy hostels we've stayed at it 's a bit ropey, I hope people don't have to live here when it's not a hostel cos it was pretty unhygienic and had the look of a disused hospital. Bring bottled water to clean your teeth! On the plus side the rooms were alright, comfortable beds and a fridge in some of them, reception staff are very friendly and helpful, and it's quiet at night. Hostel staff at the train station will get you a free taxi to the hostel,, as they claim on the leaflet. However, they also claim there's a TV room. There isn't.close

The building used to be a mental hospital, it feels likeit too. It is now student accommodatioin though. The key system was wird for dorms, relied on your roomies being honest, we were lucky they were. Cool city with a noce town square.

The building has character and a special atmosphere. The furniture (cupboards, table and chairs in the room) are rather worn out and depressing. It needs to be replaced. Location is very good, staff is friendly.

The staff goes out of its way to ensure you enjoy your stay. They will even bring you to the hostel by taxi, which I thought was great, especially after a long train ride. Good atmosphere and nice 3-4 bed dorm rooms.
