just one toilet and one shower for all people is not enough, staff friendly but sometimes overstrained, pitchdark staircase in the evenings, worst point: NO outside signpost whatsoever of the hostel on the outside of the house - very hard to find

Wonderful hostel in a fantastic location with friendly and helpful staff. Will definately return and would recommend "By the Way" to anyone planning on spending any time in Poznan. Many thanks, Richard

Pretty good, good value of money, just it might be a bit noisy if you stay during Friday night - but it's still be fine. The only concern is actually there's only 1 washroom + Bathroom for the whole hostel. If they can separate the washroom & the bathroom, that will be great ; )

Great little Hostel with a great feel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the whole hostel was clean! I wouldn't hesitate staying there again!

Wonderful hostel. Small and comfortable, clean, staff are very helpful and friendly. The only point to improve on would be to maybe install one more toilet and shower.

Best Hostel I stayed in in 4 weeks of travelling around the Baltics! Spacious rooms! High ceilings, great shower, very friendly staff, fresh sheets! Breakfast is like a hotel's! I'll come back for sure! Fabulous city! And the Hostel is really well located and easy to find!

the staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to find us additonal accomodation when our stay ended, with directions. An ideal stay for the travellers' needs... a comfortable bed and a secure place to leave your bag during the day

Very Friendly atmosphere. Super location, helpful staff. Quite clean and good prices. Certainly the place to stay in Poznan.

BTW hostel was exactly what I was looking for. I stayed there just for 1 nite but it was so ace that I didn't really want to leave. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and would go out of their way to be of any help. one bathroom in the whole hostel! and u can't use wc if someone is having a shower because wc and shower are in the same room. terrible queue...

stay there one night with my brother and found everything really good, though we had been already in other hostels the previous days. Nice decoration, big bedrooms, perfect location. Only two comments: There is only one bathroom, which is not enough when hotel is busy.
