What it does have, however, is an excellent... more Il Palazzo is both a hotel and a restaurant but never having stayed in the hotel I cannot review it other than to say that it is quite low down in the town so it doesn't enjoy the wonderful views over Positano that hotels higher up the hillsides have. What it does have, however, is an excellent restaurant. The service is professional and efficient, you can eat out in a lovely open air setting under big Italian white umbrellas and the food is very successful. The menu is short but you'll find you'd like to try almost everything on it. I can recommend in the pasta section the pappardelle al ragú di agnello (wide string pasta with lamb ragout sauce) which is excellent. The fish dishes too are wonderful. I warmy recommend this restaurant.close
