There are two building with this hostel. The first is right downtown and very centrally located. The second (which we were placed in) is further out of town- about a 10 minute walk. not horrible, but I would have rathered the first building. Very nice and clean. quite.

Could have done with a cleaner popping in to check toilet roll etc and a safe would have been nice, but seemed secure anyway. Nice to have a bit of a relax here.close

Casa Amarela was one of the best places we've stayed so far! For the same price as a hostel, you can have your own apartment! Amarela and her husband did everything and anything to make your stay comfortable. Will Return!!

Never met more helpful people in all my life. They really do bend over backwards to cater to your every need. First time we arrived we got a crappy little room, we complained about the security and she took us to the most amazing apartment. Really good value for money!!!

One of the best and most welcoming places ever stayed in! We changed room mid-way our stay, but both places were clean and well-kept apartments with their own kitchen etc. The other house had a swimming pool and a large barbeque area, too. Special thanks to our lovely hostesses!!
