Pour un prix d'ami, un des plus beaux hotels de Porto, chambres spacieuses, vue (aleatoire) sur la Praca dos Aliados, et donc emplacement parfait... Pour autant, ni les quelques retraités ni le staff pas forcément sympathique ne rendent l'ambiance agréable...

the hotel has had its days... moderate - no continental - breakfast! everybody could take my key from the reception - thats not safe! after check-in & fist leaving the room the staff checked the room - thats not okay!

the breakfast is poor, but the hotel itself is a very nice one. staff was helpful, but told us a wrong time to get to the airport which made us nearly miss our flight.

The place is located really centrally, just a quick walk away of all the sights. However, there was a construction site in the building and out on the street. The noise was really terrible, starting at 8 am in the morning continuing until late afternoon! On the first day the room seemed to be clean, second day, suddenly dozens and dozens of moths (insects) were all over the walls and bed :(( ??close

We had a very nice stay at Residencial Dos Aliados. The location is wonderful, just in the heart of Porto, but on the other side - there was a problem with parking. I will recommend this accomodation to everone.

Rooms with shared bathroom are cheaper for a reason. They don't have any facilities the others do.

False advertising. You do not get sat TV or aircon in the shared bathroom rooms. We complained and they did not even acknowledge us as we were from hostel world.

Wonderful location with brilliant restaurant below the hotel. We had a double room which was very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend it for the valuable price.

Great location, right in the city center of Porto. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a double room with ensuite which was spacious & cleaned everyday. Good breakfast included.

It's a very nice place, in the middle of Porto. The rooms are very clean and the staff is helpful and professional. It's a GREAT hotel, so i would recommend it to anyone!

The hotel was quite good value for money. The location is excellent, just next to the a metro station and walking distance from the Ribeirinha and Igreja da Se'. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was quite large. The only thing I'd say is that the building is old and the shared... more The hotel was quite good value for money. This hotel is really nice and is well priced. The location is in the city center of Porto, which is a good place to stay. The staf were very, very halpful, I recomend this place for stay and enjoy of beauty Porto.

I'll stay there again if I go back to Porto. really nice place, a real Hotel, not a hostel. I got a pretty big room wtih big windows, balcony,a nice view and private toilet/bathroom for 43 euro. Perfect loaction and a beautiful building.

the receptionist who was there during the day was very very unfriendly and not interested to work I think. We are students so we don´t except "luxury service" or something... but it really wasn´t good. thx (not even a good bye...)

Beautiful building right on the main square of Porto and only five minutes from the train and metro stations. Have Fun!! Great location all round.

The rooms were old and a bit damp smelling, but adequately furnished and even sharing the bathroom across the hall was no problem. The staff were superb, helpful and this residence is really set up to help tourists. Iternet, room service and good complimentary breakfast. We are glad we stayed...

everything was very good. the room was exactely the one on the pictures, the staff was excelent(all of them), and the location was very very good. just the breakfest could be a bit better, but anyway it was good enough. totally recomended!!!!

I felt safe in this hostel. It has a great location right in the center of the city, very close to the train station that can take you to lisbon and many other spots. My only complaint was the bathroom was kind of gross, but the rooms themslevs were cute. The breakfast was nice as well

A decent place to sleep for anyone that just requires a bed and hot shower. Was nice to have a tv in the room. Internet was insanely expensive to use however.

Great place to stay in Porto. The location is superb for all the tourist attractions in Porto. There is a Metro station (Aliados) almost right outside the hotel and a train station (Sao Bento) is also a very short walk just down the hill. The staff are very helpful and friendly too.

stayed at this hotel 31/january for 2 days we booked a double room,the room was dated with very old furniture, we was over looking the front which was nice. but the only down fall was the bed was very small even though i myself is only 5ft 6 in tall the hotel really need to update the furniture,...

The staff was amazing. Very helpful in all respects. The hostel itself is very beautiful, and likely could have been a lot of fun if we spent a lot of time there, but Porto was so nice, we spent almost every waking hour out and about. When I return I will definately stay at this place again.
