As described, clean, quiet and plenty of character. Important to note that the backpackers is about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Pt Douglas. After checking out some of the other backpackers, It would seem Port O'Call attracts more mature travellers.

This was a very nice hostel. Walking distance to the main street of Port Douglas, a very nice place, highly recommend it over Cairns. The rooms were clean, kitchen facility was adequate. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hostel. The staff are wonderful and it has a very laid back feel, which works for Port Douglas. A great place to come home to after a day at the beach or on the reef with a restaurant and bar on site.

Stayed here for four nights in one of the Double Rooms, Great Rooms, very clean and would definitley recommend to anyone.
