   The Parrotfush is a great place to stay- theres free breaky AND free dinner and free bike hire. Cool, helpful staff and its a 5 minute walk to the beach. If you're in Cairns they offer a free shuttle all the way up to Port Douglas!    As described, clean, quiet and plenty of character. Important to note that the backpackers is about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Pt Douglas. After checking out some of the other backpackers, It would seem Port O'Call attracts more mature travellers.
